LOCATION - Lat 37°30'55.9", long 91°06'39.9" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, in SE 1/4 SE 1/4 SW 1/4 sec.25, T.33 N., R.2 W., Reynolds County, MO, Hydrologic Unit 11010007, approximately 1.1 mile south of Highway KK near Brushy Creek Mine.
GROUNDWATER RECORDS
DATUM - Land-surface datum is 1,160 ft above National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929. Measuring point: DNR took ownership of well and installed real time capabilities; new gage house, 2.4 ft above land-surface datum, May 23, 2007 to present. Land surface altitude is 1,160 feet above National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929, from topographic map and is considered to be accurate to +/- 10 feet. From February 22, 2002 to May 21, 2007 the measuring point is top of steel casing 2.1 feet above land surface. From May 31, 2007 to present the measuring point is top of recorder shelf 2.4 ft above land surface.
PERIOD OF RECORD - February 22, 2002 to present.
GAGE - From February 22, 2002 to May 20, 2007, water level and temperature field data are collected and stored by a DH-21 vented pressure transducer with data logger. The equipment was housed in a 9 in X 9 in steel protective casing. From May 30, 2007 to present--water levels obtained by float and encoder and data transmitted by DCP with satellite telemetry.
COOPERATION - From February 22, 2002 to May 21, 2007, data and data processing furnished by the USGS. From May 30, 2007 to present, data furnished by Missouri Department of Natural Resources (MDNR) and data processed by USGS and MDNR.
REMARKS - The water-level record is rated good and is considered to be accurate within +/- 0.05 foot for the 2006 water year. There were no days of missing record, but there were 30 days or partial record and 8 days of estimated record between Oct. 23 and Nov. 30 caused by the low battery voltage. May 30, 2007 to Sept. 30, 2008 the record is good and considered accurate to +/- 0.1 ft based on 6 water level measurements made during the period to verify the record. The record from November 06, 2009 to January 28, 2011 is good based on 4 water level measurements made during the period to verify the recorded data and is accurate to +/- 0.1 ft. The record from January 28, 2011 to September 12, 2011 is good based on 3 water level measurements made during the period to verify the recorded data and is accurate to +/- 0.1 ft. The record from 09/12/2011 to 11/12/2012 is good based on 3 water level measurements made during the period to verify the recorded data and is accurate to +/- 0.05 ft. The record from 11/13/2012 to 09/17/2013 is good based on 6 water level measurements made during the period to verify the recorded data and is accurate to +/- 0.05 ft. The record from 09/18/2013 to 12/18/2014 is good based on 3 water level measurements made during the period to verify the recorded data and is accurate to +/- 0.05 ft. The record from 12/19/2014 to 06/08/2016 is good based on 4 water level measurements made during the period to verify the recorded data and is accurate to +/- 0.05 ft. The record from 06/09/2016 to 03/01/2017 is good based on 3 water level measurements made during the period to verify the recorded data and is accurate to +/-0.05 ft.
