gage photo LOCATION.--Lat 40°24'10", long 74°58'46" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, Stockton Borough, Hunterdon County, NJ, Hydrologic Unit 02040105, on downstream side of bridge between Stockton, NJ and Center Bridge, PA, 0.5 mi downstream of Wickecheoke Creek, 3.1 mi downstream of Lumberville, PA, and 3.3 mi upstream of Lambertville, NJ.
DRAINAGE AREA.--6,656 mi2.
PERIOD OF RECORD.--Annual maximum stage, water years 1936-55, 2004 to current year.
GAGE.--Water-stage recorder. Datum of gage is 54.00 ft above NGVD 1929, by levels.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD.--Maximum gage height, 30.4 ft, Aug 20, 1955.
