LOCATION - Lat 34°59'00.54", long 79°52'39.29" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, Anson County, NC, Hydrologic Unit 03040201, at Blewett Falls Hydroelectric Plant of Progress Energy, and 6 miles west of Rockingham, N.C., 195 miles upstream from mouth in Winyah Bay.

DRAINAGE AREA - 6,836 mi².

SURFACE-WATER RECORDS

GAGE - Water stage recorder. Datum of gage is 119.99 ft Above NAVD of 1988 ( From Trimble GPS). Satellite telemetry at site.

REMARKS -

Regulation caused by Blewett Falls Hydroelectric Plant of Duke Energy, formerly Progress Energy.
