LOCATION - Lat 18°24'45", long 66°04'34" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, San Juan Municipio, PR, Hydrologic Unit 21010005, 0.28 mi (0.45 km) northeast of Dr. Pedreira School, 3.52 mi (5.66 km) southeast of CataƱo plaza, and 0.53 mi (0.85 km) south of Hiram Bithorn Stadium main gate; Name: Piezometer Alsacia II - 6, San Juan, PR.
GROUNDWATER RECORDS
WELL CHARACTERISTICS - Depth 27 ft. Upper casing diameter 4 in; top of first opening 21 ft, bottom of last opening 27 ft.
DATUM - Land-surface datum is 11.5 ft above National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929. Measuring point: Instrument Table, 7.92 ft above National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929, Jul. 6, 1989 to Nov. 22, 2006; Top of Steel Pipe, 8.3 ft above National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929, Dec. 14, 2006 to Dec. 10, 2008; TOP OF STEEL PIPE, 8.02 ft above National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929, Dec. 10, 2008 to present.
PERIOD OF RECORD - July 6, 1989 to November 27, 1991, January 15, 1993 to current year.
COOPERATION - Funding for site provided by the Puerto Rico Department of Natural and Environmental Resources and the US Geological Survey.
REMARKS - WY 2013: Observation well. Formely published as Piezometer Alsacia (2) 6. WY 2014: A cement base and steel frame were added to protect well casing.
