LOCATION - Lat 18°25'15", long 65°59'41" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, Carolina Municipio, PR, Hydrologic Unit 21010005, 3.56 mi (5.73 km) northwest of Carolina plaza, 1.21 mi (1.95 km ) northwest of Extension El Comandante School, and 0.74 mi (1.19 km) southwest of Vistamar School. The gage is located in the middle of a small park, behind a row of houses.
GROUNDWATER RECORDS
WELL CHARACTERISTICS - Depth 152 ft. Upper casing diameter undefined; top of first opening undefined, bottom of last opening undefined.
DATUM - Land-surface datum is 6 ft above National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929. Measuring point: TOP OF SHELTER FLOOR, 2.9 ft above National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929, Jan. 21, 1986 to Jul. 29, 1986; HOLE ON SIDE OF CASING, 5.1 ft above National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929, Jul. 29, 1986 to Feb. 26, 2010; HOLE ON SIDE OF CASING (SHELTER REMOVED FOR SAFETY CONCERNS), 5.2 ft above National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929, Feb. 26, 2010 to Aug. 30, 2014; Top Of The 4-In PVC Cap, 1.95 ft above National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929, Aug. 29, 2014 to present.
