LOCATION - Lat 26°41'24.1", long 80°05'40.3" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, in NW 1/4 NE 1/4 sec.31, T.43 S., R.43 E., Palm Beach County, FL, Hydrologic Unit 03090202, on 8th Street in West Palm Beach, 1 mi north of State Road 98, and 2.5 mi west of U.S. Highway 1.

REVISIONS HISTORY - Revisions: Groundwater level measurements on Apr. 24, 2007, Jan. 18, 2008, Apr. 25, 2008, Jan. 20, 2009, May 21, 2009, June 22, 2009, and July 27, 2009 were removed on Dec. 26, 2023, not in agreement with record and considered unreliable.

GROUNDWATER RECORDS

WELL CHARACTERISTICS - Depth 150 ft. Upper casing diameter 4 in; top of first opening 145 ft, bottom of last opening 150 ft. From 0 to 58 ft, casing and screen diameter 2 in. from 58 to 150 ft, cased to 145 ft, screened from 145 to 150 ft.

DATUM - Land-surface datum is 15 ft above National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929. Measuring point: top of base, 16.65 ft above National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929, May. 1, 1989 to Mar. 8, 2005; top of base, 17.35 ft above National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929, Mar. 7, 2005 to Apr. 3, 2009; top of base, 18.2 ft above National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929, Apr. 28, 2009 to Jul. 14, 2016; top of base, 17.66 ft above National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929, Jul. 14, 2016 to Jan. 29, 2021; top of casing, 17.594 ft above National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929, Jan. 29, 2021 to present. Land-surface datum is 13.5 feet above North American Vertical Datum of 1988. See REMARKS.

REMARKS - Well also used for salinity monitoring. Water Quality records are available in the files of the U.S. Geological Survey. Water quality samples were not collected during the 1999 and 2000 water years. Station reconstructed March 2005 and April 2009 after site was damaged by construction vehicles. See DATUM.
