LOCATION - Lat 32°09'44", long 111°12'57" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, in SW 1/4 SW 1/4 SW 1/4 sec.34, T.14 S., R.11 E., Pima County, AZ, Hydrologic Unit 15050304, within the Avra Valley ground-water basin, approximately 2.5 mi north of Ajo Way (Highway 86), on northeast corner of Sandario and Snyder Hill. Owner: U.S. Geological Survey.
GROUNDWATER RECORDS
WELL CHARACTERISTICS - Depth 780 ft. Upper casing diameter 20. in; top of first opening 342 ft, bottom of last opening 779 ft.
DATUM - Land-surface datum is 2,322 ft above National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929. Measuring point: TOP OF PVC PIPE, 1.75 ft above land-surface datum, May 11, 2001, to present.
PERIOD OF RECORD - Aug. 1984 to current year.
GAGE - Water-level and compaction recorders.
REMARKS - Water level and compaction record is considered good, except when missing. Water level affected by pumping from nearby wells. Water level and compaction data are not estimated.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - Highest water level recorded, 220.1 ft below land-surface datum, Sept. 13 and 14, 2015; lowest recorded, 408.9 ft below land-surface datum, July 13-14, 2004.
