LOCATION - Lat 32°35'28.45", long 117°03'14.01" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, San Diego County, CA, Hydrologic Unit 18070304, located at Mace Street Equestrian Staging Area for Otay Valley Regional Park. Vault is at the beginning of the trailhead, in dirt area, between outside parking area and bathrooms.
REVISIONS HISTORY - June 15, 2018 water level of -20.92 ft, below LSD, was deleted due to incorrect procedures in obtaining the water level. Change was made on 11/15/2018 by rmesmer and spepin.
GROUNDWATER RECORDS
WELL CHARACTERISTICS - Depth 970 ft. Upper casing diameter 1.94 in; top of first opening 950 ft, bottom of last opening 970 ft.
DATUM - Land-surface datum is 71 ft above North American Vertical Datum of 1988. Measuring point: BLACK MARK ON TOP OF PVC CASING; WELL CASING CUT, NEW WELL HEAD INSTALLED 3/1/13, 0.4 ft below land-surface datum, Dec. 13, 2008 to Mar. 2, 2013; EVEN LEVEL WITH TOP OF VAULT, 0.5 ft above land-surface datum, Dec. 13, 2008 to present; BLACK MARK ON TOP OF PVC CASING, 0.5 ft below land-surface datum, Mar. 1, 2013 to present. Prior to September 19, 2023, Land-surface datum is 70.85 feet above North American Vertical Datum of 1988.

REMARKS - Records rated good. Sudden water-level changes may be attributed to nearby anthropogenic effects such as pumping and sampling. Cluster Wells consist of five continuous record groundwater wells, located in a common ground-level vault
