LOCATION - Lat 32°57'28", long 91°00'27" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, in SW 1/4 NW 1/4 sec.22, T.13 N., R.8 W., Issaquena County, MS, Hydrologic Unit 08030209, on Grace Road downstream of right bridge abutment over Steele Bayou.
GROUNDWATER RECORDS
WELL CHARACTERISTICS - Depth undefined. Upper casing diameter undefined; top of first opening undefined, bottom of last opening undefined. Well was drilled with a 2-inch PVC casing to an assumed depth of 30 feet below land surface (LSD datum = 104.38). Number 2, QW monitoring, well was drilled to an assumed depth of 40 feet below land surface. Well depths are assumed from nearby S 0194 (Washington) well information. Top of screen is unknown. Top of well casing is 3.97 feet above land surface. Top of QW monitoring well is capped at land surface.
DATUM - Land-surface datum is 104.38 ft above North American Vertical Datum of 1988. Measuring point: Undefined, 3.95 ft above land-surface datum, Oct. 23, 2014 to present; 3.97 feet above land surface from April 09, 2015 levels at top of well in Junction Box, 3.97 ft above land-surface datum, Apr. 9, 2015 to present.  
PERIOD OF RECORD - July 03, 2014 (install) to current
GAGE - A 3 by 3 by 2-foot Hoffman box fixed to a wooden platform about three feet above ground is located on downstream right bank of the Steele Bayou. A submersible pressure transducer connects the gage to the well junction box just downstream of the platform. Number 2 Water Quality monitoring well is located between 2 wooden posts, capped at ground level, about 20 feet downstream of platform. A Design Analysis 522 plus DCP connected to a KPSI submersible pressure transducer set to a 15 minute-scan interval is housed at the Hoffman gage house shelter/platform. New KPSI sensor was installed on July 07, 2016.
COOPERATION - Well is maintained in cooperation with U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Vicksburg District as part of the Lower Mississippi River Delta Alluvial GW/SW interaction project.
REMARKS - July 03, 2014 (install) to current.  Water level records are good.  Missing periods due to equipment malfunctions are not estimated or gap filled.
