LOCATION - Lat 35°21'13", long 89°57'06" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, Shelby County, TN, Hydrologic Unit 08010209, 3 mi west of Millington, TN at Shelby Road and Shake Rag Road, Sloanville, TN.
REVISIONS HISTORY - Groundwater levels for the period Feb. 25, 2020 to Sept. 30, 2020 were revised on Feb. 3, 2023 because of an error when depth to water was corrected for an oil layer in the well. Beginning Nov. 30th, 2021, the groundwater levels reported for this well have been corrected for the presence of an oil layer in the well. Prior to Nov. 30th, 2021, the groundwater level in this well is reported as the depth to fluid, which may have included an oil layer on top of groundwater in the well.

WELL CHARACTERISTICS - Depth 1,538 ft. Upper casing diameter 18 in; top of first opening 1,453 ft, bottom of last opening 1,530 ft. Drilled unused artesian well, diameter 24 to 16 to 8 in., depth 1,538 ft, cased to 1,453 ft, screened 1,453 to 1,530 ft.
DATUM - Land-surface datum is 264.2 ft above National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929. Measuring point: Top of Casing, 0.6 ft above land-surface datum, Oct. 1, 1940 to Apr. 13, 2006; Top of Casing, 1.86 ft above land-surface datum, Apr. 13, 2006 to present. Elevation of land-surface datum is 264.20 ft above NGVD of 1929. Measuring point: Top of casing 0.60 ft above land-surface datum until April 13, 2006. Top of casing 1.86 ft above land-surface datum.
PERIOD OF RECORD - August 1946 to current analysis period: 12/4/17-7/31/18. Analog record March 1948 to January 1971, periodic tape measurements or monthly maximum-minimum recorder January 1971 to May 2006, digital record May 2006 to current year. Real-time and digital recording discontinued on October 06, 2010, periodic tape-down measurements will continue.
GAGE - A steel shelter, 4'x3'x6,' ground mounted over an 8-inch diameter steel casing with no equipment inside. No changes were made during the current analysis period.
