LOCATION - Lat 35°25'15", long 86°01'17" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, Coffee County, TN, Hydrologic Unit 06030003, on northeast side of Arnold Engineering Development Center access road, 0.4 mi. northwest of Arnold Center Road, 300 ft. southwest of Interstate 24.
GROUNDWATER RECORDS
WELL CHARACTERISTICS - Depth 127 ft. Upper casing diameter 4 in; top of first opening 107 ft, bottom of last opening 117 ft. Drilled observation well, diameter 6 in., depth 127 ft.
DATUM - Land-surface datum is 1,088.42 ft above North American Vertical Datum of 1988. Measuring point: TOP OF 4" PVC CASING, NOT TOP OF 4" PVC COLLAR ON TOP OF CASING, 1.24 ft above land-surface datum, Feb. 28, 1991 to present.
PERIOD OF RECORD - November 2003 to current year.
GAGE - Vented pressure transducer and temporary-record tipping-bucket rain gage connected to data collection platform on a 30-minute recording interval and hourly transmission.
REMARKS - Records good. Water levels mildly influenced by pumpage at nearby wells.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - Highest water level, .41 ft. below land-surface datum, February 23, 2019; lowest, 44.32 ft. below land-surface datum, September 28, 2008.
