GROUNDWATER RECORDS
DATUM - Land-surface datum is 285.82 ft above North American Vertical Datum of 1988. Measuring point: unknown, 1.5 ft above land-surface datum, Oct. 21, 1975 to present.
PERIOD OF RECORD - August 8, 1956 to present.
GAGE - Stevens model 7001 digital recorder installed August 8, 1956. May 4, 2000 to present; DCP with float, encoder, and telemetry capability were installed as the water level recording and measuring devices.
COOPERATION - Data furnished by Missouri Department of Natural Resources (MDNR); Record from August 8, 1956 to May 4, 2000 furnished from MDNR.
REMARKS - Furnished record rated poor (August 8, 1956 to April 19, 1987) because no water level measurements are available to verify daily values. There were several abrupt jumps in the data and could be due to the float getting hung. This is not justifiable and therefore is rated poor. Furnished record rated good (April 20, 1987 to October 22, 1991) because 19 water level measurements are available and are within 0.5 ft of the daily value measurement. This data has been archived by Missouri Department of Natural Resources (MDNR) and has been verified by USGS. Furnished record rated poor (October 23, 1991 to May 3, 2000) because no water level measurements are available to verify daily values. There were several abrupt jumps in the data and could be due to the float getting hung. This is not justifiable and therefore is rated poor.
