LOCATION - Lat 37°59'54.00", long 97°36'38.20" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, in SE 1/4 NE 1/4 NE 1/4 sec.02, T.24 S., R.3 W., Harvey County, KS, Hydrologic Unit 11030012, inside the fenced area on the south west side of the intersection of SW 36th and S. Willow Road along the tree line south of the control building. Owner: city of Wichita.
GROUNDWATER RECORDS
WELL CHARACTERISTICS - Depth 261.4 ft. Upper casing diameter undefined; top of first opening undefined, bottom of last opening undefined. Drilled unused water-table well.
DATUM - Land-surface datum is 1,430.4 ft above North American Vertical Datum of 1988. Measuring point: Top of the 2 inch PVC pipe inside the steel protective casing., 2.10 ft above land-surface datum, Aug. 9, 2006, to present.
PERIOD OF RECORD - October 2013 to September 2014.
GAGE - Submersible transducer interfaced to a data-collection platform/data logger with a 1-hour update interval.
REMARKS - Water level flucuates with river stage and nearby pumping. Satellite telemeter at station.
