LOCATION - Lat 38°32'47", long 87°36'10" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, in SE 1/4 SE 1/4 NW 1/4 sec.02, T.1 N., R.11 W., Knox County, IN, Hydrologic Unit 05120113, the right-of-way of Sixth Street Road, 9.8 mi south of Vincennes.
GROUNDWATER RECORDS
WELL CHARACTERISTICS - Depth 53 ft. Upper casing diameter 6 in; top of first opening 16 ft, bottom of last opening 19 ft.
DATUM - Land-surface datum is 403.25 ft above North American Vertical Datum of 1988. Measuring point: TOP OF FLOOR OF SHELTER, 2.42 ft above land-surface datum, Jan. 1974 to Feb. 27, 2017; top of floor of shelter, 2.12 ft above land-surface datum, Feb. 27, 2017 to present. Prior to Feb. 27, 2017, land-surface datum is 405 ft above National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929, measuring point: top of floor, 2.42 ft above land-surface datum.
PERIOD OF RECORD - November 1956 to December 1972, prior to April 1968, hand-taped monthly. January 1974 to current year, continuous electronic recorder.
