LOCATION - Lat 39°27'54", long 74°27'01" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, Galloway Township, Atlantic County, NJ, Hydrologic Unit 02040302, at the Edwin B. Forsythe National Wildlife Refuge, Brigantine Division, Oceanville.
GROUNDWATER RECORDS
WELL CHARACTERISTICS - Depth 570 ft. Upper casing diameter 6 in; top of first opening 560 ft, bottom of last opening 570 ft. Drilled artesian well.
DATUM - Land-surface datum is 22 ft above North American Vertical Datum of 1988. Measuring point: Top of bushing, 2.3 ft above land-surface datum, Feb. 1, 1984 to present.
PERIOD OF RECORD - October 1959 to current year.
GAGE - Water-level recorder.
REMARKS - Water level is affected by tidal fluctuation and nearby pumping.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - Highest water level, 33.62 ft below land surface datum, Apr 13, 1961; lowest, 83.49 ft below land surface datum, Oct 14-15, 2008.
