LOCATION - Lat 41°04'28", long 87°25'44" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, in NW 1/4 SW 1/4 SW 1/4 sec.02, T.30 N., R.9 W., Newton County, IN, Hydrologic Unit 07120001,  in the Beaver Lake Prairie Chicken Refuge, 3.0 mi north of Enos.
GROUNDWATER RECORDS
WELL CHARACTERISTICS - Depth 150 ft. Upper casing diameter 6 in; top of first opening 97 ft, bottom of last opening 150 ft.
DATUM - Land-surface datum is 662.42 ft above North American Vertical Datum of 1988. Measuring point: TOP OF FLOOR OF SHELTER, 2.83 ft above land-surface datum, Dec. 2010 to present. Top of floor of shelter, 2.83 ft above land-surface datum. Prior to Feb. 2017, land-surface datum: 663 ft above National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929.
PERIOD OF RECORD - February 1976 to October 2003, December 9, 2010 to present.
GAGE - Water-level recorder.
REMARKS - Water level may be affected by irrigation pumpage.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - Highest water level, 4.04 ft below land-surface datum, May 31, 1976; lowest, 98.40 ft below lsd, July 29, 1988.
