LOCATION - Lat 41°54'53.73", long 70°43'47.16" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, Plymouth County, MA, Hydrologic Unit 01090002, Well is located along the fence to the left of the Civil Patrol Flight Squadron building. Gage is located in a 2 ft x 2 ft x 5 ft steel box. Access with 2640 key.
GROUNDWATER RECORDS
WELL CHARACTERISTICS - Depth 40 ft. Upper casing diameter 2 in; top of first opening 30 ft, bottom of last opening 40 ft. Prior to August 1990, driven observation water-table well, diameter 1.25 in., depth 42 ft, screened 40 to 42 ft at same location.
DATUM - Land-surface datum is 144.12 ft above North American Vertical Datum of 1988. Measuring point: well was unresponsive during recent visits and was replaced with new well located 30 away, 0 ft above land-surface datum, Nov. 5, 1956 to Aug. 1, 1990; top of well casing in curb box, 0 ft above land-surface datum, Aug. 1, 1990 to Mar. 14, 2019; NEW MP DETERMINED BY LEVELS, 0.04 ft above land-surface datum, Mar. 13, 2019 to present.
PERIOD OF RECORD - Continuous record, December 2014 to current year. Monthly measurements November 1956 to December 2014.
GAGE - GAGE.--Digital recorder with satellite telemeter since December 2014. Monthly measurements prior to December 2014.
COOPERATION - Massachusetts Department of Conservation and Recreation, Office of Water Resources.
REMARKS - Records good except those from Dec. 5, 2014 to Apr. 22, 2015, which are fair. Periods of missing record are not estimated.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - Highest water level, 18.30 ft below land-surface datum, Apr. 26, 2010 (monthly measurement); lowest, 28.99 ft below land-surface datum, Jan. 28, 1966 (monthly measurement).
