The operational period for the continuous water-quality monitor will be changing from year-round to seasonal operations beginning December 1, 2019, due to limited funding. As a result, the continuous water-quality monitor will not be operated or maintained during the period December 1, 2019 to March 31, 2020. Normal operations are scheduled to resume on April 1, 2020. Seasonal operations are limited to the following parameters; specific conductance, water temperature, pH, and turbidity. Questions regarding this change should be addressed to Steve Anders, USGS Colorado Water Science Center, at (970) 628-7140, email:spanders@usgs.gov.
Station operated by the U.S. Geological Survey in cooperation with Bureau of Reclamation, Southwestern Water Conservation District, Animas La-Plata Operation, Maintenance, & Replacement Association, and The Town of Durango. The Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment provides funding for the water quality data.
