GROUNDWATER RECORDS

DATUM - Land-surface datum is 670 ft above North American Vertical Datum of 1988. Measuring point: Undefined, 1.4 ft above land-surface datum, Aug. 24, 2009 to present.

PERIOD OF RECORD - August 24, 2009 to present.

GAGE - August 24, 2009 to present, DCP with telemetry capability, and float and encoder installed as the water level recording and measuring devices.

REMARKS - Data from 08/24/2009 to 11/16/2010 has been processed by the USGS with limited field water level measurements (8 measurements) during the period to verify the recorded water levels. The record is considered good and accurate to +/- 0.2 ft. The float does have a tendency on occasion to stick and 'jumps' in the data do occur. Typically the data jumps are less than 0.2 ft. Data from 11/16/2010 to 08/25/2011 is good based on 5 water level measurements made during the period to verify the recorded data and is accurate to +/- 0.05 ft. Data from 08/25/2011 to 09/11/2012 is good based on 6 water level measurements made during the period to verify the recorded data and is accurate to +/- 0.10 ft. The tendency of the float to stick and jump upon becoming free results in the accuracy. Most jumps are much less than 0.10 ft. Data from 08/25/2011 to 09/11/2012 is good based on 4 water level measurements made during the period to verify the recorded data and is accurate to +/- 0.05 ft. The float occasionally sticks in the well. These periods of the float sticking were deleted. Data from 09/12/2012 to 09/17/2013 is good based on 4 water level measurements made during the period to verify the recorded data and is accurate to +/- 0.05 ft. The float occasionally sticks in the well. These periods of the float sticking were deleted.
