STATION.--03039040 ALLEGHENY RIVER AT LOCK & DAM 5 NEAR FREEPORT, PA
LOCATION.--Lat 40`41'05", long 79`40'03", Armstrong County, Hydrologic Unit 05010006.
DRAINAGE AREA.--9,354 square miles.
PERIOD OF RECORD.--June 2010 to current year.
GAGE.--Water-stage recorder. Datum of gage is reported as 747.5 ft above North American Vertical Datum of 1988. Prior to December 4, 2023, the datum of gage was reported as 748.0 ft above National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929. Satellite telemetry at station.
COOPERATION.--Funding for this station provided by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Pittsburgh District.
This station managed by the PAWSC Pittsburgh Field Office.
