Click for larger image LOCATION.--Lat 39°30'40.5", long 79°17'54.2", Garrett County, MD, Hydrologic Unit 05020006, on left bank at upstream side of State Park
Rd bridge, 0.5 mi downstream from mouth of Meadow Mountain Run, and 2.0 mi northeast of Thayerville.
DRAINAGE AREA.--62.2 mi2, from automated delineation using 30-meter National Elevation Dataset, digital elevation model data, dated
December 2011.
PERIOD OF RECORD.--August 2020 to current year.
GAGE.--Water-stage recorder and crest stage gage. Datum of gage is 0.00 ft above North American Vertical Datum of 1988.
REMARKS.--U.S. Geological Survey satellite data-collection platform at station. Note: Prior to February 10, 2021, water temperature was monitored at 2457.80 ft.
COOPERATION.--Funding for the operation of this station is provided by the Deep Creek Watershed Foundation.
