side of Port Jefferson - Patchogue Road (State Route 112),
south of intersection with Hawkins Path, behind Suffolk County
Water Authority building complex, Coram.
WELL CHARACTERISTICS.--Depth 85 ft. Upper casing
diameter 2 in; top of first opening 60 ft, bottom of last
opening 65 ft. Datum of gage is NGVD of 1929.
PERIOD OF RECORD.--September 2006 to current year.
REVISIONS HISTORY.--Groundwater levels for the period
June 20, 2013 to Dec. 9, 2020, were deleted on July 21, 2021,
due to instrumentation errors, and the period of record minimum
was revised to match lowest measured tapedown.
GAGE.--Water-level recorder installed October 2006;
15-minute recording interval. Periodic manual measurements made
by USGS personnel.
REMARKS.--Satellite water-level telemeter at
station.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD.--Highest water level
recorded, 66.37 ft above NGVD of 1929, May 8, 2010; lowest
measured, 54.68 ft above NGVD of 1929, Oct. 31, 2017.
