LOCATION.--Lat 42°12'12.7", long
76°31'33.4" referenced to North American Datum of
1983, Tioga County, NY, Hydrologic Unit 02050103, next to
baseball field backstop in field south of Spencer-Van Etten
Central School near Spencer.
WELL CHARACTERISTICS.--Depth 53 ft. Upper casing diameter 2 in; top of first opening 48 ft, bottom of last opening 53 ft. Cased to 53 ft (screen, 48 ft to 53 ft).
DATUM.--Land-surface datum is 1,021.25 ft above North American Vertical Datum of 1988. Measuring point: Top of casing, 3.96 ft above land-surface datum, May. 21, 2019 to present.
PERIOD OF RECORD.--December 2003 to current year.
GAGE.--Water-stage recorder--15 minute; periodic measurements by USGS personnel.
REMARKS.--Water level is affected by nearby pumping. Satellite water-level telemeter at station.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD.--Highest water level, 12.98 ft below land-surface datum, Sept. 8, 2011; lowest water level, 30.74 ft below land-surface datum, Oct. 19, 2016.
