LOCATION.--Middlesex County, Hydrologic Unit 01090001, on right bank, 50 ft downstream of culvert at Winter Street, 300 ft downstream of gate house outlet from Cambridge Reservoir, and 1.3 mi north of Kendal Green.
DRAINAGE AREA.--6.86 mi².
PERIOD OF RECORD.--July 1997 to current year.
GAGE.--Data Collection Platform, water-temperature and specific conductance monitor, air temperature monitor, a heated tipping-bucket precipitation gage equipped with a wind shield, and telephone telemeter. Datum of streamgage is 149.20 ft above NAVD 1988, estimated from topographic map. Datum of reservoir gage is referenced to the City of Cambridge datum. Subtract 10.84 ft to convert to elevation above NGVD 1929. Subract 11.70 ft to convert to elevation above NAVD 1988. Dissolved chloride and sodium concentrations estimated from specific conductance measurements using the regression technique described in Smith 2013.
REMARKS.--Flow affected by regulation of dam 300 ft upstream at outflow of Cambridge Reservoir.
