LOCATION - Lat 47°14'15", long 68°34'58" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, Aroostook County, ME, Hydrologic Unit 01010003, on left bank, 2 mi upstream from mouth, and 2 mi south of Fort Kent, after January 1, 2012. Prior to January 1, 2012, on right bank, 2 mi upstream from mouth, and 2 mi south of Fort Kent.
DRAINAGE AREA - 873 mi².
REVISIONS HISTORY - WSP 2101: 1969(M). WDR ME-82-1: Drainage area.
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - DISCHARGE: July 1903 to December 1908 and May to November 1911 (published as "at Wallagrass"), September 1929 to current year. Monthly discharges only for some periods prior to November 1911, published in WSP 1301.
GAGE - Water-stage recorder and crest-stage gage. Datum of gage is 511.38 ft above National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929. July 1903 to December 1908 and May to November 1911, nonrecording gage at site 10 mi upstream at different datum. Prior to January 1, 2012, water-stage recorder on right bank at 200 feet downstream at same datum.
