LOCATION - Lat 44°48'03", long 67°43'30" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, Washington County, ME, Hydrologic Unit 01050002, on left bank, 0.9 mi southwest of the confluence with Machias River.

DRAINAGE AREA - 7.79 mi².

REVISIONS HISTORY - WDR-US-2007-1: 2002(P), 2005(P), 2006(P). Gage height and discharge data for the period Oct. 31, 2018 to Apr. 1, 2019 were revised on July 15, 2020. As a seasonal gage, record during the winter months was erroneously available on NWISWeb, and was deleted.

Water Year 2016: Records good, except for periods of ice effect, Dec. 29 to Jan. 11, Jan. 13 to Feb. 3, Feb. 5-17, 19, 23, 27, Mar. 4, and period of no gage-height record, Jan. 14-17, which are poor.
