LOCATION - Lat 42°08'23", long 71°23'24" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, Norfolk County, MA, Hydrologic Unit 01090001, on right bank at upstream side of Walker Street bridge at intersection with Populatic Street, 0.5 mi east of Medway.
DRAINAGE AREA - 65.7 mi².
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - November 1997 to current year.
GAGE - Data Collection Platform with satellite telemeter. Datum of gage is 174.23 ft above NAVD 1988, estimated from topographic map. Prior to May 12, 2020, datum of gage reported as 175 ft above NGVD 1929, estimated from topographic map.
COOPERATION - Massachusetts Department of Conservation and Recreation, Office of Water Resources.
REMARKS - Records fair except those for estimated daily discharges, which are poor. Ground-water and surface-water withdrawals upstream for municipal supplies.
