LOCATION - Lat 42°26'09", long 71°15'38" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, Middlesex County, MA, Hydrologic Unit 01090001, 250 ft upstream from Lincoln Street, 270 ft upstream from Cambridge Reservoir, and 1.9 mi southwest of Lexington.
DRAINAGE AREA - 0.41 mi².
REVISIONS HISTORY - Annual peak discharges, water years 1998, and 2004-2009.
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - October 1997 to September 1998; December 2003 to current year.
GAGE - Data Collection Platform with telephone telemeter. Datum of gage is 174.20 ft above NAVD 1988, estimated from topographic map. Datum of gage previously reported as 175 ft above NGVD 1929, estimated from topographic map.
COOPERATION - Cambridge Water Department.
REMARKS - Records good except those for discharges less than 0.10 cfs and those for estimated daily discharges, which are poor. Lowest daily mean discharge occurred on many days during period of record.

SPECIFIC CONDUCTANCE: Maximum instantaneous specific conductance: 12,900 µS/cm on Feb. 16, 2017; Minimum instantaneous specific conductance: 42 µS/cm on Jul. 12, 2017. Records of water temperature are rated excellent. Records of specific conductance are rated as excellent except for the following daily ranges: 2016/12/14 through 2017/02/24; 2017/03/12; 2017/04/03; and 2017/09/08 which are rated good; and 2016/10/23 through 2016/10/25; 2017/04/04 through 2017/04/11; and 2017/07/13 through 2017/07/18 which are rated poor.
