LOCATION - Lat 43°37'20", long 72°45'34" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, Rutland County, VT, Hydrologic Unit 01080106, on right bank, 50 ft upstream from Mission Farm Road bridge, 1.6 mi northwest of State Highway 100S and US 4E intersection in West Bridgewater, and 2.6 mi southeast of River Road and US 4 intersection in Sherburne Center.
DRAINAGE AREA - 23.4 mi².
REVISIONS HISTORY - WDR NH-VT-87-1: 1985-86.
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - Discharge records: October 1984 to July 2010, October 2011 to current year.
GAGE - Water-stage recorder and crest-stage gage. Datum of gage is 1148.59 ft above North American Vertical Datum of 1988.
COOPERATION - Vermont Department of Environmental Conservation, USGS Groundwater and Streamflow Information Program, and US Army Corps of Engineers.
REMARKS - WATER YEARS 2014-18 and 2020-22: Records good except those for estimated discharges, which are poor. WATER YEAR 2019:  Records fair except those for estimated discharges, which are poor.
EXTREMES OUTSIDE PERIOD OF RECORD - Flood of August 28, 2011, reached a stage of 14.95 ft, present datum, from floodmarks, discharge 9,070 ft³/s, from rating curve extended above 1,300 ft³/s on basis of contracted-opening and flow-over-road measurement of peak flow.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - Maximum discharge, 1,960 ft³/s, March 29, 1998, gage height 7.33 ft; maximum gage height, 8.94 ft, April 14, 2002; minimum discharge, 1.2 ft³/s, September 8 and 11, 2002.
