01440400 BRODHEAD CREEK NEAR ANALOMINK, PA
LOCATION - Lat 41°05'05", long 75°12'54" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, Monroe County, PA, Hydrologic Unit 02040104, on left bank, along State Highway 447, 1.5 mi upstream from Paradise Creek, 1.6 mi southeast of Henryville, and 2.3 mi north of Analomink.
DRAINAGE AREA - 65.9 mi².
REVISIONS HISTORY - Prior to November 22, 2021, the datum of the gage was reported in error as 586.50 ft above NGVD 29 due to a revision of the original benchmark used for datum establishment.
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - October 1957 to current year. 
GAGE - Water-stage recorder, crest-stage gage, and water-quality monitor. Datum of gage is 585.78 ft above North American Vertical Datum of 1988 and 586.31 ft above National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929 (NGVD29).  Prior to Dec. 12, 1957, non-recording gage at same site and datum. Prior to November 21, 2021, the datum of the gage was reported as 586.50 ft above NGVD 29.  This revision is due to a revision of the original benchmark used for datum establishment. Satellite telemetry at station.
COOPERATION - Station established and maintained by the U.S. Geological Survey. Funding for this station is provided by the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection and the U.S. Geological Survey.
REMARKS - Records are good except those for estimated discharge, which are poor.

EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF DAILY RECORD - WATER TEMPERATURE: Maximum,  25.7°C, Aug 9, 2022; minimum  -0.1°C, several days during winter. SPECIFIC CONDUCTANCE: Maximum, 104 microsiemens/cm, Mar 1, 2021; minimum, 28 microsiemens/cm, Sept 1, 2021.
