LOCATION - Lat 40°03'00", long 75°01'59" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, Philadelphia County, PA, Hydrologic Unit 02040202, on left bank at downstream side of footbridge pier, 400 ft downstream from Lower Rhawn Street bridge, and 0.8 mi upstream from Wooden Bridge Run in Philadelphia.

GAGE - Water-stage recorder, crest-stage gage and water-quality monitor. Datum of gage is 21.2 ft. above North American Vertical Datum of 1988, (GNSS survey). Prior to April 8, 2024, the datum of gage was erroneously reported as 21.27 ft above National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929. Satellite telemetry at station.
COOPERATION - Station established and maintained by the U.S. Geological Survey. Funding for the operation of this station is provided by the City of Philadelphia, Water Department and the U.S. Geological Survey.
REMARKS - The highest daily mean for period of record, 6,000 ft³/s, on August 28, 2011 is estimated.
Records for water year 2014 are good from Oct. 1 - Feb 11, and fair from Feb. 12 - Sept. 30, except those for estimated daily discharges, which are poor. Records for water year 2015 are good with the exception of Jan 19-28, March 11-12, April 21-27, July 11-23, and Aug. 23-26 which are poor. Records for water year 2016 are good, except for estimated daily discharges, which are poor. Records for water year 2017 are fair, except for estimated discharges, which are poor. Records for water year 2018 are fair, except for estimated discharges, which are poor.
