01475548 COBBS CREEK AT MT. MORIAH CEMETERY, PHILADELPHIA, PA
LOCATION - Lat 39°55'58.03", long 75°14'15.49" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, Delaware County, PA, Hydrologic Unit 02040202, on right bank, 120 ft upstream from bridge on access road to cemetery and 2.5 mi upstream from mouth. Cobbs Creek Parkway runs adjacent to creek and 200 ft landward of right bank.
DRAINAGE AREA - 19.9 mi².
REVISIONS HISTORY - WDR -US-2010:2006-2009 (P). WDR -US-2011: 2006-2010 (P)*. *Daily mean and instantaneous discharges associated with the April 15, 2009 peak discharge have also been revised.
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - October 2005 to current year.
GAGE - Water-stage recorder and crest-stage gage. Datum of gage is 20 ft above National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929, from topographic map. Satellite telemetry at station.
COOPERATION - Station established and maintained by the U.S. Geological Survey. Funding for the operation of this station is provided by the City of Philadelphia, Water Department and the U.S. Geological Survey.
REMARKS - Records for water year 2014 are good for period from May 20 to September 30, fair for period from October 1 to May 19; and poor when discharges are estimated or greater than 800 ft³/s. Records for water year 2015 are fair except those for estimated daily discharges and those greater than 800 ft³/s which are poor. Records for water year 2016 are rated fair, except those for the periods March 22-24, and March 28-April 5, which are rated poor. Records for water year 2017 are rated fair, except those for the periods  November 19-29, December 13, which are poor. Records for water year 2018 are rated fair, except those estimated discharges, which are poor.
