LOCATION - Lat 39°42'24.8", long 75°41'42.3" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, New Castle County, DE, Hydrologic Unit 02040205, on left bank downstream of highway bridge on Upper Pike Creek Road, 2.7 mi northeast of Newark, and 0.8 mi upstream from mouth.
DRAINAGE AREA - 5.89 mi².  
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - Annual maximum, water years 1969-75. October 2019 to current year.
GAGE - Water-stage recorder and crest-stage gage. Datum of gage is 41.61 ft above North American Vertical Datum of 1988. October 2019 to September 2020, datum of gage was published as 49.0 ft above North American Vertical Datum of 1988. November 1968 to September 1975, nonrecording gage at site 0.35 mi downstream, on right upstream wingwall of bridge on State Highway 2, at datum 30.96 ft above National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929.
