WATER-QUALITY RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - November 2010 to current year.
PERIOD OF DAILY RECORD - WATER TEMPERATURE: November 2010 to current year. SPECIFIC CONDUCTANCE: November 2010 to current year. DISSOLVED OXYGEN: March 2011 to current year, seasonal operation. pH: March 2011 to current year, seasonal operation.
COOPERATION - Station established by the US Geological Survey in cooperation with the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection.
REMARKS - Water temperature and specific conductance data are collected year round. pH and dissolved oxygen data collection is suspended during the winter months. Cross-sectional water quality data is available upon request. Historically water temperatures below 0 degrees Celsius were not reported. Water temperature sensors now have the ability to accurately read water temperatures below 0 degrees Celsius. Subsequent to water year 2015, water temperatures below 0 degrees Celsius are reported.
