LOCATION - Lat 35°18'23", long 81°14'05" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, Gaston County, NC, Hydrologic Unit 03050102, on right bank 700 ft upstream from bridge on Secondary Road 1456, 3.3 mi northeast of Bessemer City, and 8.2 mi upstream from mouth.
DRAINAGE AREA - 31.8 mi².
REVISIONS HISTORY - WSP 1723: 1959-60, maximum discharge, monthly and yearly mean discharge and runoff. WSP 1904: 1959-60, daily discharge. WDR NC-80-1: Drainage area.
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS

October 1952 to current year. Monthly discharge only for some periods, published in WSP 1723.
PRECIPITATION: October 2001 to current year, station number 351822081140545.
GAGE - Water-stage recorder and crest-stage gage. Datum of gage is 705.86 ft above North American Vertical Datum of 1988. Satellite telemetry at streamgage.
