02198980 SAVANNAH RIVER AT FORT PULASKI, GA
LOCATION - Lat 32°02'08.9", long 80°54'21.8" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, Chatham County, GA, Hydrologic Unit 03060109, at downstream side of the U.S. Coast Guard pier on Cockspur Island, 1.0 mile upstream from the mouth, 0.7 miles west of Fort Pulaski.
DRAINAGE AREA - Indeterminate.
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD -
DISCHARGE: June 2009 to current year.
GAGE HEIGHT: October 1987 to current year.
WATER VELOCITY: June 2009 to current year.
GAGE - Satellite telemetry with a water-stage recorder and an acoustic velocity meter. Datum of gage is North American Vertical Datum (NAVD) of 1988. From October 1, 2001 to September 30, 2007, datum of gage was referenced to National Geodetic Vertical Datum (NGVD) of 1929. Prior to October 1, 2001, gage datum was 3.02 feet below NGVD of 1929.
