LOCATION - Lat 33°40'44.1", long 84°21'29.3" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, Fulton County, GA, Hydrologic Unit 03070103, on right upstream bank of Forrest Park Road, 0.05 miles downstream of Poole Creek, 0.4 miles upstream of South River Tributary and 1.7 miles upstream of Intrenchment Creek.
DRAINAGE AREA - 22.5 mi².
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS

GAGE - Satellite telemetry with water-stage recorder. Datum of gage is 778.44 feet above North American Vertical Datum (NAVD) of 1988 (leveling by Global Positioning System equipment).
COOPERATION - City of Atlanta.
REMARKS - Gage-height records are generally good. Data for parameter code 63680 (turbidity) were collected using a probe with the following specifications: turbidity, water, monochrome near infra-red LED light, 780-900 nm, detection angle 90 +/-2.5 degrees, FNU (Formazin Nephelometric Units). Before October 1, 2004, turbidity data were published using parameter code 00076: turbidity, water, unfiltered, NTU (Nephelometric Turbidity Units). Water sample constituent analysis is by the U.S. Geological Survey, National Water Quality Laboratory (USGS-NWQL). Laboratory sediment analyses are by the U.S. Geological Survey, Iowa Water Science Center, Iowa Sediment Laboratory. Field determinations of discharge, gage height, microbiology, specific conductance, pH, water temperature, air temperature, turbidity, and dissolved oxygen are by the U.S. Geological Survey.
