02239600 TRIBUTARY TO SILVER RIVER AT SH 40 NEAR OCALA FL
LOCATION - Lat 29°13'09", long 82°02'34" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, in NE 1/4 sec.06, T.15 S., R.23 E., Marion County, FL, Hydrologic Unit 03080102, on east bank, downstream side of three box culverts on State Highway 40, 0.3 mi upstream from Silver River, 3.4 mi west of Ocklawaha River, and 6.1 mi northeast of Ocala.
DRAINAGE AREA - 13.2 mi² of which about 4 mi² has no surface drainage and is noncontributing except at extremely high flows.
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - January 1983 to June 1998 (annual peak discharge and periodic discharge measurements only); June 2013 to September 2018, October 2018 to September 2019 (gage heights only) discontinued.
GAGE - Water-stage recorder, acoustic velocity meter, and data-collection platform. Datum of gage is at NAVD of 1988 (St. Johns River Water Management District bench mark).
COOPERATION - This gage is monitored in cooperation with the St. Johns River Water Management District.
