REVISIONS HISTORY -

Revisions: WDR-US-2007, site 022908295, 2006. Unit values discharge data for Water Year 2006 have been revised superseding those published at http://sofia.usgs.gov/. See REMARKS.

SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - March 2002 to current year.
GAGE - Satellite data collection platform with shallow-vented pressure transducer and acoustic Doppler velocity meter. Datum of gage is North American Vertical Datum of 1988 (NAVD 88).
REMARKS - Wetland flow site is influenced by wind and to a lesser extent tide. Tide can be a factor in the dry season but not deemed significant. Discharge and gage height records are available in the files of the U.S. Geological Survey. Discharge and gage height 15 minute data can also be accessed online at http://sofia.usgs.gov/. Daily values of gage height are available online at http://waterdata.usgs.gov/nwis.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - DISCHARGE: Maximum positive discharge, 57 ft³/s Oct. 4, 2005; maximum negative, 15.6 ft³/s May 24, 2017. GAGE HEIGHT: Maximum gage height, 2.82 ft Sept. 13, 2017; minimum, -1.52 ft Feb. 29, 2008 and Mar. 1, 2008.
WATER-QUALITY RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - SALINITY: October 2003 to current year. SPECIFIC CONDUCTANCE: October 2003 to current year. WATER TEMPERATURE: October 2003 to current year.
INSTRUMENTATION - Water-quality monitor.
REMARKS - Prior to October 1, 2007, salinity computed directly from specific conductance using a conversion within the water quality monitor. October 1, 2007 to current year, salinity computed from corrected specific conductance data using a rating in the NWIS database. Sensor located at -1.45 ft NAVD 88. Specific conductance and water temperature records are available in files of the U.S. Geological Survey. Specific conductance, salinity and water temperature 15 minute data can also be accessed online at http://sofia.usgs.gov/. Daily values of salinity, specific conductance, and water temperature are available online at http://waterdata.usgs.gov/nwis.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - SALINTY: Maximum recorded, 13.9 ppt May 18, 2011; minimum recorded, 0.1 ppt on multiple days over the period of record. SPECIFIC CONDUCTANCE: Maximum recorded, 23,000 uS/cm @ 25°C May 18, 2011; minimum recorded, 152 uS/cm @ 25°C, June, 17, 2009. WATER TEMPERATURE: Maximum recorded, 36.0°C July 23, 2005; minimum recorded, 6.2°C Jan. 11, 2010.
