LOCATION - Lat 27°23'03", long 82°07'48" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, in SE 1/4 SE 1/4 SW 1/4 sec.32, T.35 S., R.22 E., Manatee County, FL, Hydrologic Unit 03100102, on right bank approximately 1.0 mi east of the confluence with the Myakka River, approximately 0.5 mi east of the Myakka City-Wauchula Road, and approximately 3.5 mi northeast of Myakka City.
DRAINAGE AREA - 3.93 mi².
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - January 1999 to current year.
GAGE - Water-stage recorder. Datum of gage is 1.15 ft above North American Vertical Datum of 1988.
COOPERATION - This gage is monitored in cooperation with Southwest Florida Water Management District.
WATER-QUALITY RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - March 2006 to September 2011 (discontinued).
INSTRUMENTATION - Water-quality monitor consisted of specific conductance and temperature sensors located near the bottom at elevation of 41.0 ft NAVD 88.

TEMPERATURE: Maximum, 31.0°C, June 8, 2010, but may have been higher during periods of missing record; minimum, 3.0°C, Jan. 11, 2010, but may have been lower during periods of missing record.
