LOCATION - Lat 28°48'04", long 82°36'10" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, in NE 1/4 sec.29, T.19 S., R.17 E., Citrus County, FL, Hydrologic Unit 03100207, located at the bridge on Halls River Road, 1.9 mi. west of the intersection of US Highway 19 and Citrus Co. 490-A, Homosassa Springs.
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - June 2006 to September 2009 (tidal high-high and low-low gage heights only); November 2014 to July 2018 (maximum and minimum gage heights only); August 2019 to current year (maximum and minimum gage heights only).
GAGE - Water stage recorder. Datum of gage is North American Vertical Datum of 1988.
COOPERATION - This gage is monitored in cooperation with Southwest Florida Water Management District.
REMARKS - The extremes for periods published previously as tidal high-high and low-low gage heights are equivalent to maximum and minimum gage heights.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - Maximum gage height, 4.89 ft, Aug. 30, 2023; minimum, 2.68 ft below NAVD 88, Jan. 3, 2008.
