LOCATION - Lat 29°04'16.7", long 82°25'35.8" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, in SW 1/4 sec.19, T.16 S., R.19 E., Marion County, FL, Hydrologic Unit 03100208, on left bank, 2.5 mi downstream from main spring boil, and 3.2 mi upstream from mouth.
DRAINAGE AREA - Indeterminate.
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - November 2013 to current year.
GAGE - Water-stage recorder, acoustic velocity meter, and data-collection platform. Datum of gage is 22.72 ft above North American Vertical Datum of 1988.
REMARKS - Discharge measurements made approximately 0.5 mi downstream of the gage; surface inflow between springs and measuring site is negligible except after heavy rain. Starting October 2015 discharge is computed from velocity, as recorded by ADVM, and water level elevation. From the beginning of the period of record, and prior to October 2015, discharge computed from relation between artesian pressure at Rainbow Springs Well (290514082270701) and discharge at measuring site.

INSTRUMENTATION - Water-quality monitor consisting of nitrate sensor.
