LOCATION - Lat 30°53'33.4", long 83°19'07.9" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, Lowndes County, GA, Hydrologic Unit 03110203,
DRAINAGE AREA - 537 mi². Approximately 537 square miles.
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD -
DISCHARGE: October 1976 to September 1978; August 1988 to January 1990; July 2010 to current year, discharge below 75 cfs only.
GAGE-HEIGHT: July 2010 to current year.
GAGE - Satellite telemetry with a water-stage recorder. Datum of gage is 110.3 feet above the North American Vertical Datum (NAVD) of 1988 (leveling by Global Positioning System equipment).
COOPERATION - City of Valdosta.
