LOCATION - Lat 32°28'22", long 84°59'48" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, Muscogee County, GA, Hydrologic Unit 03130003, on the upstream, West (right) bank at the 14th Street Pedestrian Bridge abutment.
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD -
DISCHARGE: October 1929 to current year.
GAGE HEIGHT: October 2013 to current year.
GAGE - Satellite telemetry with water-stage recorder. Datum of gage is 190.0 feet above North American Vertical Datum (NAVD) of 1988 (leveling by Global Positioning System equipment).
COOPERATION - U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Mobile District; Georgia Power Corporation; and USGS National Streamflow Information Program (NSIP).
REMARKS - Gage-height records are generally good. Discharge records are generally fair except for estimated discharges, which are poor.  Additional details on the accuracy of the records can be obtained by contacting the USGS South Atlantic Water Science Center at gs-w-ga_nwisweb_data_inquiries@usgs.gov.
