LOCATION - Lat 30°47'25", long 85°08'27" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, in NW 1/4 sec.33, T.5 N., R.9 W., Jackson County, FL, Hydrologic Unit 03130012, at spring vent inside Blue Springs Park, at northeast end of Merritt's Mill Pond reservoir, 0.1 mi southeast of State Road 164, 3.3 mi east of State Highway 71, and 5.2 mi east of Marianna.
DRAINAGE AREA - Indeterminate.
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - January 1929 to October 1947, August 1973 to February 1985 (miscellaneous discharge measurements), April 2003 to August 2004 (fragmentary),September 2004 to July 12, 2010 (Discontinued), January 2017 to current year.  Prior to October 1985, published as Blue Spring near Marianna.
GAGE - Water-stage recorder.  Datum of gage is at NAVD88 and 0.42 ft below NGVD 29. Prior to August 2010 datum of gage was 64.15 ft above NGVD 29 and 63.73 ft above NAVD88. 
REMARKS - Records poor. The spring flow is affected by Merritts Mill Pond reservoir at all times.
