LOCATION - Lat 41°48'25.8", long 80°03'47.8" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, Crawford County, PA, Hydrologic Unit 05010004, on left bank, adjacent to water treatment plant, 580 ft downstream of Grant Street bridge, and 0.41 miles northwest of Cambridge Springs, PA.
REVISIONS HISTORY - Revisions: Prior to November 2, 2023, the datum of gage was erroneously reported as 1126 ft above North American Vertical Datum of 1988.
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - Period of record began in water year 2017.
GAGE -

Water-stage recorder. Datum of gage is 1,123.6 ft above North American Vertical Datum of 1988 (NAVD88).  Prior to November 2, 2023, the datum of gage was erroneously reported as 1,126 ft above NAVD88 or 1,124.26 ft above National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929.  Satellite telemetry at station.

REMARKS -  
WATER-QUALITY RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - October 2017 to current year.
INSTRUMENTATION - Water temperature probe interfaced with a data collection platform collecting data at a 15-minute sampling interval. 
REMARKS -

Records for water year 2018 water temperature are good except for the period from October 1 to January 30, which are fair.

Beginning water year 2019, water quality records are not rated "excellent", "good", "fair", or "poor".

EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD -

High temperature for period of record: 28.6 degrees C on July 16, 2018.

Low temperature for period of record: 0.0 degrees C on multiple days.
