LOCATION - Lat 40°53'38.07", long 79°28'43.05" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, Armstrong County, PA, Hydrologic Unit 05010006, on right river wall 50 ft downsteam of Lock 8 maintenance building, 1.7 miles downstream from Templeton, PA, 3.3 miles east of Adrian, PA, and 7 miles upstream of Allegheny lock #7.
DRAINAGE AREA - 8,824 mi²
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - September 2016 to current year.
GAGE - Water stage recorder and staff gage. Datum of gage is 772.8 ft above North American Vertical Datum of 1988.  Prior to November 2, 2023, the datum of gage was reported as 773.4 ft above National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929.  Telemetry at site.
COOPERATION - Station established and maintained by the U.S. Geological Survey in cooperation with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Pittsburgh District.
