LOCATION - Lat 40°44'04.1", long 79°40'41.2" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, Armstrong County, PA, Hydrologic Unit 05010009, Armstrong County, PA, Hydrologic Unit 05010009, on left bank downstream side of bridge over Buffalo Creek on SR 3023
DRAINAGE AREA - 125 mi².  
REVISIONS HISTORY -

Revisions: Discharge for March 28, 2020, was revised on January 12, 2021, based on extension of stage-discharge rating.

Revisions: Prior to January 2, 2023, the datum of gage was reported as 825 ft above North American Vertical Datum of 1988.

SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - October 2014 to October 2017; March 2019 to current year.
GAGE - Water stage recorder. Datum of the gage is 820.1 ft above North American Vertical Datum of 1988.  Prior to January 2, 2023, the datum of gage was erroneously reported as 825 ft above NAVD of 1988.  Satellite telemetry at site.
COOPERATION - Station established and maintained by the U.S. Geological Survey. Funding for the operation of this station is provided by the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection and the U.S. Geological Survey.
REMARKS - Record is good except those for estimated discharge, which is poor.
