WATER-QUALITY RECORDS
PERIOD OF DAILY RECORD -

SPECIFIC CONDUCTANCE: October 2004 to current year. pH: October 2004 to current year. WATER TEMPERATURE: October 2004 to current year. DISSOLVED OXYGEN: October 2004 to current year (data collection suspended during the winter months). Other interruptions in data were due to instrument malfunctions.

COOPERATION - Station established and maintained by the U.S. Geological Survey in cooperation with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Pittsburgh District.
INSTRUMENTATION - Automated water-quality monitor interfaced with a data collection platform with 15-minute recording interval.
REMARKS -

Historically, water temperatures below 0 degrees Celsius were not reported. Water temperature sensors now have the ability to accurately read water temperatures below 0 degrees Celsius.

Values reported by the monitor may not be representative of the entire river width. Cross-sectional water quality data is available upon request.

Data collection for dissolved oxygen is suspended during the winter months. Other interruptions in the record were due to equipment malfunctions.

For water year 2014, records for specific conductance, pH, and water temperature are rated good. Records for dissolved oxygen are rated good, except for October 1-24, which are rated poor.

For water year 2015, records for specific conductance, pH, water temperature, and dissolved oxygen are rated good.

For water year 2016, records for water temperature and dissolved oxygen are rated fair. Records for specific conductance and dissolved oxygen are rated poor.

For water year 2017, records for water temperature and specific conductance are rated good. Records for pH are rated good, except for April 29 to May 31, which are fair. Records for dissolved oxygen are rated good, except for May 3 to August 31, which are poor.

For water year 2018, records for water temperature and specific conductance are rated good, except for April 30 to June 22, which are fair. Records for pH and dissolved oxygen are rated good, except for April 30 to September 30, which are fair.
