LOCATION - Lat 40°03'34", long 82°23'47" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, Licking County, OH, Hydrologic Unit 05040006, on right bank at upstream side of bridge at East Main Street, and 0.5 mi upstream of the confluence with South Fork Licking River.

DRAINAGE AREA - 240 mi².

SURFACE-WATER RECORDS

PERIOD OF RECORD - December 2010 to current year.

GAGE - Water-stage recorder. Datum of gage is 749.69 ft (NAVD 1988).

REMARKS -

Records fair for Oct. 1, 2013 to Nov. 11, 2014, except for estimated records, which are poor. Records good for Nov. 12, 2014 to Mar. 29, 2015, except for estimated records, which are poor. Records fair for Mar. 30, 2015 to Nov. 2, 2015, except for estimated records, which are poor. Nov. 3, 2015 to Jan. 4, 2016: discharge records good. Flow diverted from river by City of Newark Water Treatment Plant upstream from station and returned as treated wastewater to Licking River downstream from station. Average diversions in ft³/s for the following water years are in the table below:
